What is the ROLE of the MT Street Team?
The MT Street Team is a group of high-energy MTSU students that are looking to gain first-hand experience in the sports industry. For the fall semester, students help out with all aspects of gamedays. From pre-game all the way through post-game, students will assist with set up, sponsorship activation, in-game promotions, and game operations. For the spring semesters, students will still help out on gamedays AND join the MT marketing staff in the office. This structure allows for a full circle experience.
How many people will be chosen for the 2018-19 MT Street Team?
The MT Street Team will consist of 10 members.
How many events will a MT Street Team Member be expected to work (divided into semesters)?
When will I be expected to arrive for each event?
This will vary depending upon each sport and upcoming events. Typically, we will need you one to two hours prior to an event.
Do I need to have sport or entertainment experience to be on the MT Street Team?
No, you just need be outgoing, energetic, and passionate about MT Athletics and pursuing a career in sports. MT Street Team members must be eager and willing to interact with fans to get them excited about home games and/or community events. MT Street Team members must be open to feedback and maintain a positive “can do" and HAVE FUN attitude at all times.
