Buck Bouldin begins his seventh season as a volunteer coach for the Blue Raiders, returning to the Middle Tennessee tennis program after serving as its head coach for seven years from 1965-1971.
Bouldin took over a program that had won two matches in four years and led the Blue Raiders to a 10-1 record in his first season. He was named OVC Coach of the Year in 1965 and 1968 and also coached Middle Tennessee to a pair of second-place OVC finishes.
Bouldin graduated, played and coached at Washington and Lee University. He earned his undergraduate and law degrees from Washington and Lee and obtained a master's degree from Middle Tennessee. Bouldin is a well-respected attorney who has practiced in the Midstate area since 1951.
