One of the top all-around players in Middle Tennessee volleyball history, Ashley Asberry led the Blue Raiders to the Sweet 16 of the 2007 NCAA Tournament. Asberry helped lead Middle Tennessee to the 2006 and 2007 Sun Belt Conference volleyball championships, as well as NCAA Regional appearances both seasons. In 2006, Asberry helped lead Middle Tennessee to a first-round win against Louisville in the NCAA Tournament, before scoring upset wins vs. Louisville and Hawaii in the 2007 NCAA Tournament to reach the Sweet 16 for the only time in program history. The two-time, All-Sun Belt Conference performer is atop the Middle Tennessee record books in numerous career and single-season categories. Despite graduating a decade ago, Asberry still holds the top three spots in school history for single-season block assists, and she is in the Top 10 of three single-season categories for blocks per set. She also tops the all-time individual career records in assisted blocks (556). She is the all-time individual leader in blocks per set, while also ranking second all-time for individual career attack percentage. Asberry is also a member of the 1,000 kills club with 1,105 at Middle Tennessee.
