Bryce Brentz was a five-time, first-team All-American during a heralded career that also saw him become Middle Tennessee’s all-time home run leader. Bryce was the 2009 Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year and a three-time all-league selection. He helped lead the Blue Raiders to a school-record 44 wins in 2009 when he led NCAA Division I in home runs and RBI. Bryce tops the Middle Tennessee career lists for home runs, slugging percentage and multi-home run games. In all, he is in the top three of seven career categories: home runs (1st), slugging percentage (1st), multi-home run games (1st), batting average (2nd), runs scored (2nd), total bases (2nd) and RBI (3rd). Bryce also ranks first in seven single-season categories. He is the only Blue Raider position player to be named first-team All-American by Baseball America and NCBWA. Bryce was a first-round draft pick of the Boston Red Sox in 2010.
