George Frost
- Induction:
- 1996
- Class:
- 1956
A three-year letterman and two-year starter on MT football teams in the mid-1950s, George Frost's athletic skill also made him a standout on Coach Joe Black Hayes' track team and nascent wrestling team.
Originally enrolled at Mississippi State, Frost returned to his home in Franklin, Tenn., in his first semester to enroll at MT. After talking with Coach Charles "Bubber" Murphy and watching one practice, he joined the Blue Raiders' kickoff and receiving teams. A lifelong Blue Raider fan, Frost was president of both the MTSU Foundation and the Alumni T-Club, now the Varsity Club.
