Clark featured in Sports Illustrated's Faces in the Crowd

NEW YORK - Middle Tennessee junior forward Alysha Clark was one of six people featured in the Feb. 9, 2009, edition of Sports Illustrated's Faces in the Crowd section. She was the only Division I women's basketball player highlighted among the group.
Clark's accompanying paragraph was written prior to her 33-point, 12-rebound outburst in the Lady Raiders' 77-49 victory at Denver Wednesday.
On the season, Clark averages 24.6 points per game and 9.6 rebounds per game while being named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week four times. She has been tabbed as a Midseason Top-20 Candidate for the Wooden Award and is one of 50 players on the Early Season Watch List for the Naismith Award.

Clark and her Blue Raider teammates will return to action at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Troy, Ala., against Troy.
