MURFREESBORO – Middle Tennessee's season-opening conference game against Western Kentucky will kick off at 6 PM on September 13. The game will be televised locally on MyNashville 30.
Middle Tennessee's EMC Productions will produce the game while Chip Walters and Dennis Burke will call the action.
The Blue Raiders and Hilltoppers will renew their rivalry following a year off due to different conference affiliation. MT owns a 33-29-1 advantage over WKU and have won four of the last five meetings.
The Blue Raiders will have 11 of 12 regular season football games in 2014 selected for television, with eight being part of the league package.
The Blue Raiders will have national broadcasts on the road against Minnesota (Big Ten Network), Old Dominion (FS1) and Marshall (FS1 or FSN) and home contests versus UAB (FCS) and BYU (CBS Sports Network).
