CULLOWHEE, N.C. - Middle Tennessee soccer dropped its final non-conference match 1-0 at Western Carolina on Friday night.

The two squads played to a scoreless draw at halfime with the Blue Raiders only recording one shot in the half despite taking three corner kicks.

The game remained scoreless until the 78 minute when Western Carolina's Chandler Arrowood put a goal away for the Catamounts from seven yards out to beat the Blue Raiders goalkeepers, Kelsey Brouwer.

MT ended the match with four shots with Grace Summers leading the way with two total, while Brouwer secured one save on the night.

Middle Tennessee falls to 3-4-1 on the season after the road loss. The Blue Raiders start the conference season on Friday, September 26th with a home match against UTEP at 7 p.m. MT will continue C-USA play with a game on Sunday against UTSA at 2 p.m.
