MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – On Sunday, Aug. 19, the Middle Tennessee Athletics Department will host its annual Fan Day inside Floyd Stadium from 2-4 p.m.
Fan Day is open to the public and admission is free. The event allows fans to come out and meet the 2018 players and coaches from football, volleyball and soccer.
This can't-miss event will feature live music from the popular local band, Everyday People, as well as countless family friendly amenities, such as inflatables, giveaways, autograph/ photo sessions and free food and drinks.
MT Athletic Corporate Sponsors will be in the stadium handing out various promotional materials to attendees. Fans will also have the opportunity to compete in various backyard games to win exclusive Blue Raider memorabilia.
Also, fans will be able to pick up posters, schedule magnets and the illustrious "Our Town, Our Team" yard signs.
The Blue Raider Ticket Office will hold a select-a-seat event inside Floyd Stadium. This provides fans a chance to see what seats are still available for the 2018 season. The Blue Raider Ticket Office, located at Gate 1A, will be open for fans to purchase season tickets or single game tickets.
The Blue Raider Athletic Association (BRAA) will also be there to answer any questions fans may have about becoming a member. New BRAA members are also encouraged to attend.
For fans looking to stock up on new Blue Raider gear for the upcoming season, Lightning's Locker Room will be open at the Gate 2 location. The athletic department will also be hosting its annual "Blue Raider Yard Sale" so fans will have the opportunity to pick up some discounted Blue Raider items.
Following Fan Day, everyone is encouraged to go over to the Dean A. Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium, as the women's soccer team kicks off their first home game of the season against in-state rival Belmont at 6 p.m.
Make plans now to bring the entire family to enjoy this longstanding Blue Raider tradition as Middle Tennessee kicks off the 2018-2019 athletic year.
