Blue Raider Men Ranked in USTFCCCA Preseason National Poll

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Middle Tennessee men's cross country team will begin the 2018 season ranked in the national top 25, as the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its preseason national coaches' poll Tuesday afternoon.
The Blue Raiders received 118 points to land at 19th in the national poll. This poll comes a day after MT was picked second in the USTFCCCA South regional poll.
The men enter 2018 after winning the Conference USA and NCAA South Region titles. In 2017, the Blue Raiders finished a program best 23rd at the NCAA Championships. Kigen Chemadi and Jacob Choge return this year after each placing in the top 40 at the NCAA Championships.
Middle Tennessee is scheduled to open the 2018 season on Friday, Sept. 1 at the Brooks Twilight Invitational at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex in Memphis, TN.
