Women's Tennis Heads to Florida for Road Matches

Middle Tennessee Women's Tennis will travel over to Florida for a two game road matchup, first against FGCU in Fort Myers, Fla. Friday morning. Then 97 miles northwest to Tampa Bay, Fla. to face off against USF on Saturday. Fans can follow the action on Twitter (@MT_WomensTennis).

- This will be the first meeting between the Blue Raiders and Eagles, FGCU comes into Friday with a 1-2 record, falling to USF and No. 17 Miami while defeating Georgia State. Last season, FGCU finished 10-8 overall and went 6-0 in ASUN competition losing in the championship against Stetson 4-3.

Lidia Burrows - The junior is coming into the weekend in singles competition with two wins and two losses. She claimed the only singles win over the ITA Weekend Kickoff in Austin, Texas 6-2, 6-4 over Wichita State's Bellucco.
