Raiders Set to Take On Motlow State in a Planned 14 Inning Exhibition

Murfreesboro, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee baseball team will play a planned 14 inning exhibition match against Motlow State Community College tomorrow at 2 PM at Reese Smith Jr. Field.
In their last meeting with an outside opponent this fall, the Blue Raiders put up 16 runs and only allowed six through 14 innings against Columbia State. Transfers Mason Speirs and Mark Engel both went deep on Charger pitchers to helped lead the Raiders to a 16-6 win.
After this weekend there will only be three more times you can see the Blue Raiders in action until they open up their regular season at North Carolina on Feb. 14. The Blue Raiders will close out the fall with the annual Blue/White World Series beginning on Oct. 18 at 3 PM.
