Cunningham hosting 2nd Annual Toy Drive

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Former Middle Tennessee running back Benny Cunningham will once again collect toys for local kids in need this holiday season.
On Dec. 21, Cunningham will help host the second annual toy drive at the Parkwood Community Center in Nashville from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Kids will then collect the toys on Dec. 23 between 5-7 p.m., and they'll also get food and drinks.
Cunningham expects 40-45 kids at the toy collection event.
The former Blue Raider is a Nashville native, attending Goodpasture Christian School in Madison, Tennessee before signing with MT.
After playing four years for the blue and white (2009-12) and garnering Second Team All-Sun Belt Conference honors as a senior, Cunningham has enjoyed a nice professional career.
He was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2013 by the St. Louis Rams, spending four seasons with the organization before signing with the Chicago Bears in 2017. He was with the Bears for two years.
