Edoki Named C-USA Athlete of the Week

Middle Tennessee Junior Fabian Edoki was named Male Field Athlete of the Week by Conference USA on Monday. Edoki earned Middle Tennessee's third weekly award this season for his performance in the Long Jump at the Music City Challenge.
The Nigerian won the event with a jump of 7.92m, nearly two tenths longer than the second place jump. The mark is second in the league only to his own mark of 8.01. Both marks are the top by a Nigerian this season. This is his second win in the long jump this year.
The award is the third in athlete of the week award in four weeks for MT after Tre'Von Sanders and Abike Egbeniyi each won the award in January.
