Blue Raider Soccer Releases 2019 Spring Schedule

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee women's soccer has released its 2019 spring schedule featuring six matches in total with four home matches and two at Lipscomb, as announced by head coach Aston Rhoden.
"Spring games provide a great opportunity for us to develop the technical proficiency, tactical insight, and psychological strength of individual players and the team. I can hardly wait to get started playing these games."
The Blue Raiders kick things off in the spring season with a standalone match against Southern Indiana at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 16 at Dean Hayes Stadium.
Middle Tennessee will host the MTSU Invitational at Dean Hayes Stadium March 23rd which include regional foes Chattanooga, Austin Peay, and Tennessee Tech. Raiders open the tournament with a 9:30am start taking on the Mocs of Chattanooga before playing the final match of the tournament against to Tennessee Tech at 3:00 pm.
A week later the Raiders' head to Lipscomb for the Music City College Cup for two matches, one over Vanderbilt at 2:30 pm and the other following at 4:00 pm against Libscomb.
MT finishes up their spring schedule taking on Trevecca at home on April 12th at 5:30 pm. The next day the alumni of the soccer team will also take part in a 5v5 scrimmage at 1:30 pm.
The women in blue look to add on to their success last season as they reached 10 wins for the first time since 2015.
