Millin, Davis sign to join Blue Raiders in June
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee head men's basketball coach Nick McDevitt announced Wednesday the addition of prep standout Tyler Millin and Dayton transfer Jordan Davis to his first full signing class in Murfreesboro.
The pair committed to McDevitt and the Blue Raiders earlier this month shortly after taking official visits to campus and submitted their National Letters of Intent Wednesday as the spring signing period opened.
"We are extremely excited that Tyler Millin and Jordan Davis are joining our basketball program," McDevitt said. "Their skill sets address our team needs as we continue to move forward and they will be great additions to the Middle Tennessee family."
Millin, a 6-foot-7 wing from Calera, Ala., averaged 18 points and eight rebounds per outing as a senior at Calera High School. The long lefty then played one season at The Skill Factory, a prep school in Atlanta where he averaged 14 points, seven rebounds and three assists per game.
Davis, a 6-foot-3 guard, started 54 games over the last two seasons with the Flyers and averaged 9.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per night as a sophomore while earning a starting spot in every contest except Senior Night.
A South Carolina native, Davis must sit out one season due to NCAA transfer rules and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining in Murfreesboro.
Both Millin and Davis plan to enroll at Middle Tennessee in June to take part in summer workouts with the Blue Raiders.
