Torian Earns C-USA All-Academic Honors

FRISCO, Texas – Conference USA All-Academic honorees for Track and Field were announced by the conference office on Tuesday with Blue Raider Jaquez Torian being named to the list.
Torian is an Aerospace major who boasted a 3.729 GPA during his sophomore season. The Fayetteville, N.C. native has been named to the C-USA Commissioner's honor roll each season at Middle Tennessee and earned Middle Tennessee Dean List honors every semester.
The sophomore notched 16 first-place finishes in the 2018-2019 season. He won the 400-meter at the 2018 C-USA indoor championships and was a part of the men's team who claimed the C-USA men's indoor track and field title this season. Likewise, Torian posted a season-best time of 21.40 in the outdoor slate at the Black and Gold Invitational in the 200-meter.
