Raiders unveil exciting football promotions for 2019

MURFREESBORO – With just 103 days left before the 2019 football season gets underway, the Middle Tennessee Athletic Department is officially announcing its game promotions and game times for the upcoming home campaign.
The Blue Raiders will kick-off their 105th home season against Tennessee State on Sept. 7. The 20th all-time meeting between the two schools will begin at 6 PM and will serve as our former players reunion weekend. For more information, please contact the Varsity Club at 615-904-8196.
The following weekend Middle Tennessee will host ACC member Duke and Head Coach David Cutcliffe. The 6 PM start time will be the Blue Raiders' popular Blackout game while also serving as Family Weekend.
On Oct. 5, Marshall's Thundering Herd will come to town for the program's annual Hall of Fame Weekend. Kickoff is set for 2:30 PM with the induction ceremony for the 44th class scheduled for Noon.
The Blue Raiders will play host to FIU for Homecoming, Oct. 26 at 2:30 p.m., and, after a road game and an open date, the Blue Raiders return to Floyd Stadium on Nov. 16 to face the Rice Owls for the first time in school history. The game will serve as the Blue Raiders' 38th Salute to Veterans and Armed Forces contest and will kick-off at 3:30 PM.
The home finale for Senior Day will be against division rival Old Dominion. The Nov. 23 game will kick-off at 3:30 PM.
Television for this year's schedule will be announced at a later date.
