MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – On Saturday, Aug. 24, the Middle Tennessee Athletics Department will host its annual Fan Day inside Floyd Stadium from 7:15-9:00 p.m.
This year's Fan Day is uniting with the University Event Convocation/President's Picnic, an annual event that welcomes students and family members to the University and kicks off the beginning of a new academic year. The President's Picnic is a time to eat and mingle with fellow students and administrators, while hearing from President Dr. Sidney A. McPhee.
The event is open to the public, and admission is FREE. Fans and students are encouraged to come out and meet the 2019 Blue Raiders and coaches for the following sports: football, volleyball, cross country and soccer.
This can't-miss event will feature live music from the popular band The Respectables, as well as countless family-friendly fun amenities, such as inflatables, giveaways, photo booths, autograph/photo sessions and free food and drinks.
MT Athletic Corporate Sponsors will be in the stadium handing out various promotional materials to all who attend.
Also, don't forget to pick up posters, schedule magnets and the illustrious "Our Town, Our Team" yard sign to show off your Blue Raider Pride year-round. Blue Raiders Kids Club members will also be able to pick up their exclusive membership packets at the event.
The Blue Raider Ticket Office, located inside the Gate 2 concourse, will have season tickets on sale as well as Blackout Tickets Packages.
The Blue Raider Athletic Association (BRAA) will also be there to answer any questions fans may have about becoming a member, and we encourage and welcome all new BRAA members to join us in Floyd Stadium.
For fans looking to stock up on new Blue Raider gear for the upcoming season, Lightning's Locker Room will be open at the Gate 2 location. The annual "Blue Raider Yard Sale" will also allow fans to pick up some discounted Blue Raider items.
Free parking will be available at the Livestock Lot on campus with free shuttles provided to get fans to the stadium.
Mark your calendars and make plans NOW to bring the entire family to enjoy this longstanding Blue Raider tradition as we kickoff our 2019-2020 athletic year!
