Murfreesboro, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's basketball team is headed to Denton, Texas for a matchup with the North Texas Mean Green. The Lady Raiders look to extend their win streak after back-to-back home wins against UTEP and UTSA.

About the Lady Raiders
- Charity Savage is fourth nationally and first in C-USA for her 11.3 rebounds per game, sixth nationally, first in C-USA for her 4.5 offensive rebounds per game and second in C-USA for her 6.8 defensive rebounds per game. Savage also moved past Priscilla Robinson on the program single season rebounding list, putting her at No. 20 with 249 total rebounds.
- Aislynn Hayes became the first player ever to be named USBWA National Freshman of the Week three times in a season. She was honored Feb. 4, Nov. 26 and Dec. 31. She has also been named Conference USA Freshman of the Week on four occasions.
- Taylor Sutton is second in C-USA and tied for 20th in the nation for her 61 three-point field goals made, averaging 2.8 per game.
Scouting the Mean Green
- Anisha George is averaging 12.6 points and 8.6 rebounds per game, both of which are team highs.
- Destinee McDowell is the only other player averaging double figure scoring with 11.1 points per game.
- North Texas' balanced scoring attack features five players averaging 7.4 points or more. The Mean Green is fifth in C-USA for scoring defense, allowing 60.7 points per game.
All-Time vs. North Texas
- This is the 26th meeting between the Lady Raiders and the Mean Green. MT leads the all-time series, 21-4, including 16 consecutive wins.
- In their last meeting, MT defeated North Texas 61-46 in Murfreesboro on Jan. 26, 2019.
- MT is 8-2 against North Texas in Denton.
Last Time Out
- The Lady Raiders took down UTSA 69-48 Saturday evening at the Murphy Center. MT saw a season-high night with 32 forced turnovers, leading to 30 points, and its 20 steals.
- Freshman Aislynn Hayes scored a career-high25 points, making it her sixth 20-plus game this season.
- Charity Savage collected her ninth double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds, adding to a career-high six steals.
