No. 24 Princeton outlasts the Raiders, 4-1

PRINCETON, N.J. —The 31st-ranked Middle Tennessee men's tennis team suffered a 4-1 road loss against No. 24 Princeton Sunday afternoon inside the Jadwin Gymnasium.
With the loss, Middle Tennessee falls to 13-5 overall.
The Princeton Tigers earned the first point of the day in doubles action. They took down No. 2 and No. 3 doubles of the Blue Raiders.
Princeton's Justin Barki downed Stijn Slump 6-3, 6-0 to up the lead to 2-0. Raiders's Chris Edge earned the Blue Raiders lone point to cut the lead to 2-1 from a straight-set victory over Seggerman on court two.
Max Rauch came up short against Will Peters on court four. Rauch suffered his fourth dual loss of the year, falling 6-2, 6-2.
After dropping his first set, 6-1, Pavel Motl powered through his second set against fellow Bill Duo to try to force a third set and keep the match alive. Duo pulled away late in the second set for the victory on court two and the match clinch, 6-1, 7-5.
The Blue Raiders face Conference USA foe Rice in Houston on Friday, March 13th.
