» Corner infielders Lexi Cushing (nine homers) and Jocelynn De La Cruz (eight homers) entered the week as the nation's leading duo in round-trippers.

» Record watch is in full effect this season, as Summer Burgess and Cushing inch closer towards capturing Blue Raider career records. Burgess is 29 hits shy of becoming MT's all-time hits leader, and Cushing now has a program-best 111 RBIs and 43 homers.
All-time vs. Western Kentucky
» The Hilltoppers have an all-time advantage over Middle Tennessee, 39-28.
» WKU swept MT in Murfreesboro last season, but the Blue Raiders earned a win when it mattered most, a 1-0 decision in the C-USA Tournament.
» MT is 15-18 in games played at Bowling Green all-time.
Scouting the Hilltoppers
» Western Kentucky enters the weekend as the top team in Conference USA in stolen bases per game, shutouts and earned run average.
» Offensively, sophomore outfielder Taylor Davis gets on base more often than not, as she leads her team with a .476 batting average and 15 stolen bases.
» In the circle, senior Kelsey Aikey is widely considered one of C-USA's best arms. She leads the conference in shutouts and boasts a record of 8-2, an ERA of 1.64, and already 100 strikeouts.
» Shelby Nunn (1.28 ERA, 5-1) and Kennedy Sullivan (2.33 ERA, 4-1) also pose threats in the circle for opposing batters.
» Sullivan also has a team-best .732 slugging percentage with seven doubles and five homers.
» The Hilltoppers are currently riding a seven-game win streak and have four run-rule victories this season.
