Check out our interview with Krysta:
How have you been doing during this tough time?
I've been staying busy with a lot of professional development opportunities and also working on creative workouts to keep athletes busy during this time.
Why did you decide to start working at MT?
I decided to work at MT because of the teams I would get the opportunity to work with. I also knew I would learn from everyone in the strength and conditioning department, since there is a hunger to grow and get better.
What has been your fondest memory here at MT and can you describe it?
One of my fondest memories would be surprising volleyball at conference tournament. They were able to fly me down after my groups for the week to be there. Being able to see all my athletes compete and play the games they love will always be my favorite memories.
Have you learned any new skills or hobbies in this unique time?
I have started learning a new language and learning to play guitar with some of the extra time that I have.
What makes you enjoy your job as much as you do?
Building relationships with my athletes and coworkers makes my job a lot more enjoyable. Being able to be a positive mentor for athletes is an honor and something I am thankful I get to do everyday.
Do you have anything to share with the Blue Raider family and friends?
Just to keep challenging yourself everyday. Be creative in finding things to make you better in these unusual times. Stay connected to people and stay safe.
