Four Blue Raiders receive All-America honors

MURFREESBORO, Tenn.— Four Blue Raiders received All-America honors for the 2020 NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field season, as announced by the USTFCCCA on Tuesday.
Kigen Chemadi and Jacob Choge earned honors in both the 5,000 meter and distance medley relay, while Brian Rono and Jaquez Torian received honors in the DMR. According to the USTFCCCA, all student-athletes in individual events who were listed on the startlist and all four student-athletes per anticipated relay would be recognized.
Chemadi and Choge ranked 9th and 10th going into the NCAA Championships after recording their ranked times of 13:36.82 and 13:38.48 at the Boston University Season Opener. The men's DMR team (Kigen Chemadi, Jacob Choge, Brian Rono and Jaquez Torian) was also expected to compete after sliding into a qualifying spot at the Boston University Last Chance Qualifier with a time of 9:32.60.
