Raiders win 20th straight at home, sweep Austin Peay 7-0

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – A dominant doubles point and six straight-set singles victories propelled Middle Tennessee past Austin Peay 7-0 Sunday for its 20th straight home win at the Adams Tennis Complex.
The victory was the Blue Raiders' (3-2) second shutout of the year, as they didn't allow Austin Peay (0-2) a set.
On court two, the Blue Raider tandem of graduate Max Rauch and junior Francisco Rocha cruised to a 6-2 win.
The duo of sophomore Patrick Kristensen and freshman Andreas Kramer dominated the Governors on court three to secure their first doubles win of the season and clinch the doubles point. The junior team of Pavel Motl and Sean Presson fell behind 2-5 but would battle back to complete the come-from-behind win, 7-6 (7-1).
In singles, the Blue Raiders made quick work of things with each player earning a straight-set victory to sweep the match 7-0.
On court five, No. 102 Oskar Michalek dominated Jacob Lorino, 6-1, 6-2, for his third singles victory in dual play.
Stijn Slump quickly followed at No. 2, taking down Frederic Schlossmann, 6-0, 6-2, for his 29th career singles triumph, upping the MT advantage to 3-0.
At the No. 4 position, Presson clinched match point with a clean 6-0, 6-1, dispatching of Anton Damberg to improve the Blue Raiders to 3-2 on the dual season with his first dual match win.
Graduate senior Tom Moonen downed Christian Edison, 6-1, 6-1, on court one to further extend the Blue Raider lead, his 160th combined win, passing former teammate Gonzalo Morell-Raschiotore (158) at No. 7 all-time at MT.
Kristensen added to the sweep, knocking off Thiago Nogueira 6-0, 6-2 to earn his first dual match win of the season.
Rauch also made his return to the singles lineup. He finished off the 7-0 shutout with a straight-set victory at No. 4, knocking off Oliver Andersson, 6-2, 6-1.
