Fall season wraps up at Olde Stone Intercollegiate

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's golf finishes the fall portion of its schedule this week at the Olde Stone Invitational in Bowling Green, Ky. The tournament, hosted jointly by Western Kentucky and Louisville, will be played Monday and Tuesday on the par-72, 6,212-yard course at The Club at Olde Stone.

NOTES

MT is coming off a 4th-place finish at Missouri State's Ozarks National Invitational with a team score of 894 (+30).
The Blue Raiders opened the season by posting the second-lowest 54-hole score in program history, carding a collective 855 (-9) to finish third at the USA Intercollegiate in Mobile, Ala.
Graduate student Sophie Burks set a program record of her own in Mobile, turning in a 205 (-11) to tie for third individually and earn Conference USA Player of the Week honors.
The Blue Raiders enter the tournament at No. 77 in the latest Golfweek Women's Collegiate Team Rankings.

"This is going to be a fantastic golf course to play with a really strong field," head coach Chris Adams said. "We are excited, as we have heard nothing but great things about Olde Stone. It has been a long fall since our first event, but I know the team is ready to go and have an opportunity to end the season on a positive note."
