MT Falls Short on Thursday in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. – The Blue Raiders competed in the ITA All-American Championships on Thursday hosted by the University of Tulsa at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. Pavel Motl, Stijn Slump, Francisco Rocha represented the Blue Raiders.
After yesterday's emphatic win over the eighth ranked player in the country, Rocha fell short pushing nationally-ranked Stefan Dostanic of USC to three sets. After Rocha won the first set, 6-4, he proceeded to lose the next two, 6-3, 6-2, respectively in the Round of 32.
In the doubles Main Draw Round of 16, Motl/Slump squared off with a white-hot duo from the University of Southern California, Dostanic/Frye. USC's pair advanced to the Quarterfinals by the way of straight sets.
