Blue Raiders return home to face Bryan

Murfreesboro, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee returns from Mexico as the champions of the Mayan Division of the Cancun Challenge to take on Bryan College at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Murphy Center. The Blue Raiders defeated Rider and Mercer to earn their first regular season tournament trophy since 2016.
Saturday's game will be live streamed on CUSA.tv. Fans can listen to the radio broadcast on WGNS 1450 AM/100.5 FM and The Game 2 94.9 FM/95.1 FM.
The Blue Raiders needed a tremendous second-half effort to come back and beat Rider. MT held the Broncs to 21 points after halftime in a 60-54 victory Tuesday. Wednesday's victory was easier, as Middle Tennessee led wire-to-wire against Mercer, shooting 55.4 percent from the floor in an 82-58 victory.
Eli Lawrence was named the Mayan Division MVP, averaging 15.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game during the tournament. DeAndre Dishman was also named All-Tournament with 7.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.
