MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee women's golf has announced its spring schedule for 2021-22, featuring four regular season tournaments at some of the top courses in North America. The Blue Raiders will make trips to Tallahassee, Fla., Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Chattanooga, Tenn., and San Antonio, Texas, before the Conference USA Championships in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
"We are really excited about the competition we are going to face this spring," head coach Chris Adams said. "We are looking forward to working hard in the off season to be ready for the spring to get started in sunny Florida."
The spring kicks off at the Florida State Match Up, held Feb. 25-27 in Tallahassee, Fla. Florida State hosts the event at Seminole Legacy Golf Club, the on-campus club at FSU.
The Blue Raiders head south of the border March 19-21 for the Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational, hosted by Iowa in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The El Tigre Golf Club has been reviewed as one of the top 10 courses in Mexico by Golf Guide Magazine and Golf in Mexico Magazine.
Back in the states, MT heads to the Chattanooga Classic from March 27-29. This year's Chattanooga Classic will take place at the Council Fire Golf Club, built in the early 1990s to draw an exclusive date on the PGA Tour to Chattanooga.
The regular season wraps up April 5-6 at UTSA's Maryb S. Kauth Invitational. The tournament returns to the 117-year-old San Antonio Country Club for the third straight year.
The postseason begins April 18-20 with the Conference USA Championship in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. The Blue Raiders will play for a conference title at the PGA National Resort, home of the PGA Tour's Honda Classic.
NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 9-11 at locations TBD. The NCAA Championships will take place May 20-25 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
