Blue Raiders Conclude Competition at Clark Wood Open

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Middle Tennessee track and field team concluded competition at the Clark Wood Open on Saturday. The Blue Raiders captured 10 podium finishes and four event titles overall.
Jumps
Esther Isa would take the gold in the women's triple jump with a 12.42m mark.
Sprints
Quincey Riley would capture the silver in the men's 100m with a time of 11.06.
Middle Distance
Joice Jebor's 4:39.20 mark in the women's 1500m earned her a 7th place finish. Caitlin Cunningham (4:39.97), Faith Rono (4:46.86), and Francisca Jebor (4:52.21) finished 10th, 19th, and 25th, respectively. Stephen Mengich used a personal best 3:52.94 in the men's 1500m to notch an eighth-place finish. Jacob Choge placed 10th with a 3:55.49 while Isaiah Strauel finished 13th with a time of 3:59.06.
Long Distance
Lebo Mosito broke the facility record and captured the bronze in the men's 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:04.00.
Relays
The women's 4x100m relay of Dorcas Gyimah, Amarachukwu Obi, Akera Benton, and Cecilia Francis ran a 46.51 to take the silver. On the men's side, Courtland Jordan, Darian Jones, Nickson Pierre, and Jaquez Torian earned the bronze with a time of 41.95.
