Blue Raiders Host Over 30 Pro Scouts at 2022 Scout Day

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – MTSU baseball student-athletes showcased their skills in front of over 30 professional scouts in the program's annual scout day Oct. 12 at Reese Smith Jr. Field.

After a 29-26 finish to the 2022 season, the Blue Raiders won their most games since 2015, won seven of 10 conference series and made the Conference USA Baseball championship for the second consecutive year.

- Over 15 hitters reached 100 miles per hour batted ball exit velocities.
- Over 15 position players ran under a 7.0 60-yard dash.
- Pitchers also shined on the mound with the radar gun tracking 90 mph or better for seven individuals
- Best velocities thrown throughout the night were Jaden Hamm, who consistently reached 96 mph on the gun, and Eriq Swan, whose fastball sat around 97 mph.
