Middle Tennessee Concludes Road Trip with Loss at UTEP

EL PASO, Tex. – The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders finished a two-match road trip in Texas with a 2-0 loss to the UTEP Miners on Sunday afternoon.
The Raiders gave up two goals in the first half on their way to the defeat. Miners' forward Mina Rodriguez would open the scoring inside of four minutes, before Sophia Lewis made it 2-0 in favor of the home team in the 28'. Midfielder Vanessa Cabello assisted on both goals.

9: MTSU fired away nine total shots, with three coming on goal. Eleanor Gough's three shots and two on target were both team-highs on the afternoon. Kirstine Lykke logged two shots and one on goal, while Emma Pettersen and Idun Kvaale added one shot each.
3: The Raiders have three matches remaining in the 2022 regular season. They return home for a pair of matches before the season finale at FIU on Oct. 29.
5: Goalkeeper Hannah Suder added five saves to her 2022 tally on Sunday. The senior now has 163 career stops, which ranks seventh all-time in program history.
