BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The Middle Tennessee volleyball team took on the Hilltoppers for the final time this regular season on Sunday. The Blue Raiders were only able to scrape together 24 kills on a .159 hitting percentage to go along with three blocks.

The Blue Raiders (13-9, 2-6 C-USA) dropped all three sets to the WKU Hilltoppers (21-2, 9-0 C-USA), with set scores of 17-25, 11-25, and 20-25. The Hilltoppers hit .440 which included a season-high 23 kills (23-7-36) for their star player Lauren Matthews on a .444 hitting percentage.

Freshman Adri Rhoda played well, ending the day with 11 kills (11-2-6) on a team high .346 hitting percentage. Rhoda also had two aces on the day, moving her season total to 53 and counting.

By the Numbers
.159: The Blue Raiders' .159 percentage on the offensive side is the fourth lowest they've been held to this season.

Blue Raider Notes

Rhoda has 53 service aces on the season already, giving her first place on the 25-point scoring era records list and ninth on the all-time list. She needs two more aces to take eighth on the all-time list and 39 to take first place.
Banton currently sits at 1,179 career digs, needing 14 more digs to tie the current 25-point era program record for digs in a career at 1,193.
