Kamrowski, Matsuoka pick up singles win in day one of the Georgia Tech Invite

ATLANTA, Ga. — Marcel Kamrowski and Shu Matsuoka opened play for the Blue Raiders at the Georgia Tech Invite on Friday.
In doubles, the tandem of Kamrowski and Matsuoka faced Marcus McDaniel and Elias Shokry of Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets took the win.
In singles, the two Blue Raiders won both of their single matches in straight sets. Kamrowski played against Yale's Luke Neal. The freshman from Poland won 6-3, 6-4. Matsuoka competed against Mitchell Deames of Vanderbilt. The freshman from Japan won the first set tiebreak 7-6. He would win the second set 6-3.
