Vance Earns C-USA Track Athlete of the Week Honors

DALLAS – Junior Lyn'Nikka Vance has been named Women's C-USA Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
Vance competed in three events at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational hosted by Louisville on Saturday, January 29.
In the women's 60m dash, Vance set a facility record and a new personal best of 7.47 seconds that led to a first-place finish. Her new time improves her lead by .01 seconds for the number one mark in Conference USA.
Vance also took fourth place in the women's long jump with a length of 5.90m and sixth in the women's 200m with a time of 24.61 seconds, which would be the third best mark in Conference USA behind her 24.44 time from two weekends ago.

Middle Tennessee's track and field team gets a weekend off before heading on the road again for the Bulldog Invite hosted by Samford Friday, February 11, and Saturday, February 12, in Birmingham, Alabama.
