Joins Horak, Matsuoka for a Top 25 Recruiting Class in the Nation
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's tennis head coach Jimmy Borendame adds to his nationally ranked recruiting class with the signing of Marcel Kamrowski to a national letter of intent on Thursday.
"Marcel is a great addition for our program. He can play an all-around game and his doubles is a strength," said Borendame. "He has only scratched the surface of what he can do, as he has had a number of restrictions the past few years. Coach Andrea Caligiana, our staff, and I are looking forward to working with him."
Kamrowski, a 6-foot-2 standout from Gdansk, Poland, has reached a career-high ITF Junior Ranking of No. 78 in the world and currently sits at No. 1579T on the ATP Tour. His career-high ITF rank of No. 78 marks the highest junior player signed in the Borendame era.

He advanced to the quarterfinals of the M15 Cairo, defeating Louis Allen (GBR, 2057 ITF) and Amr Elsay (Egypt, 1311 ITF). Kamrowski additionally reached the semifinals in three other singles events, quarterfinals in two singles events, and progressed to quarterfinals in three of five doubles events he competed in.
In the 2022 season, the Gdansk, Poland product reached the quarterfinals of the M15 Chaing Rai in doubles and the Round of 32 in the M15 Sharm El Sheikh in singles.
