Limatukei Named C-USA XC Female Athlete of the Week

DALLAS - The conference office has announced Tuesday afternoon that sophomore Naomy Limatukei was named as Conference USA XC Female Athlete of the Week. This is Limatukei's first weekly honor from the conference office.
In her first cross country meet with the Blue Raiders, Limatukei finished in fourth in a field of 121 runners (third among collegiate runners) at the Memphis Twilight with a time of 18:06.93 in the women's 5K. Limatukei led the Blue Raiders to a first-place finish with a team total of 37 points, beating out top-25 ranked Ole Miss and their 41 points.
