MTSU heads to ITA Regional Championships in Knoxville

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee women's tennis will be traveling to Knoxville, Tenn. for the ITA Regional Championship. The tournament will begin on Oct. 19 and finish Oct. 23.
Sana Garakani, Lena Peyer, Lilly-Sophie Schmidt, Hrudaya Shah, Eloise Swarbrick and Alessia Truden will represent MTSU in singles and doubles this week. Graduate transfer Truden will seek her first action as a Blue Raider this week.
Garakani and Schmidt competed in this event last year. Garakani tallied six wins in singles and doubles combined throughout the tournament and B flight.
