Sposetti to join Blue Raiders in January

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's tennis head coach Tayo Bailey-Duvall announced the addition of Ilaria Sposetti to the program for the 2024 season.
"We are excited and happy that Ilaria will be joining our Blue Raider family in January, said Coach Bailey-Duvall. "As we continue to focus on building a championship team, Ilaria brings great experience and a great singles game to help give us depth and strength."
A native of Tolentino, Italy transfers to the Blue Raiders from Universita Mercatorum.
Sposetti has reached the round of 16 in three tournaments at the ITF 15K Serbia, ITF 15K Casablanca and ITF 15K Varberg. She made it to the quarterfinals of the ITF 15K Buenos Aries.
"I really can't wait to come there and meet the team, said Sposetti. "It looks like you have a great environment and atmosphere. I am ready to give everything I have on the court and add value to the team."
Before Universita Mercatorum, Sposetti attended Istituto Paritario San Paolo Pozzuoli. At Middle Tennessee, she will study Leisure Sport and Tourism Management, Sports Industry.
