Boldyreva named CUSA Player of the Week

Second consecutive weekly award for the Lady Raiders
DALLAS – Following strong performances against Michigan and DePaul, Middle Tennessee center Anastasiia Boldyreva was named the Conference USA Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Boldreva, a junior from Moscow, Russia picked up her third career weekly accolade - she was previously named Freshman of the Week twice in 2022.
The 6-6 center led the Battle 4 Atlantis in scoring on the opening day in a field that features: Arizona, DePaul, Howard, Memphis, Michigan, Ole Miss and South Dakota State. She logged 23 points, seven rebounds and four blocks against Michigan, going 10-of-15 from the field, including 1-of-1 from beyond the arc and hit a pair of free throws. Boldyreva followed that performance up with 14 points, eight rebounds and three blocks in Middle Tennessee's 71-69 win over DePaul, where she shot 5-of-7 from the field, including 1-of-1 from 3-point range and made a trip of free throws.
Boldyreva currently ranks fifth in the nation and leads CUSA in blocks with 14. She also ranks fourth in the league in scoring with 15.0 points per game and seventh in rebounds with 7.4 boards a game.
