Women’s tennis travels west to compete at the CSUN Fall Invitational

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee women's tennis will be heading to Los Angeles, Calif. to compete at the CSUN Fall Invitational from Friday, Nov. 10 to Sunday, Nov. 12.
Sana Garakani, Lena Peyer, Hrudaya Shah and Eloise Swarbrick will represent MTSU in singles and doubles this weekend.
Garakani will look to continue her great play for the ITA Regional Championships. The Lisbon, Portugal native reached the round of 32 in singles. In doubles, Garakani and Shah teamed up to advance to the round of 32 as well.
Cal State Northridge is the host of the tournament. MTSU is one of ten teams competing this weekend and conference foe UTEP will be there as well.

"We are looking forward to finishing the fall semester strong this weekend. It is always great to compete against teams outside of our region and in different climates . There should be some quality matches and quality wins."
