MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Graduate student Kaylee Oscarson will continue her volleyball career as she has signed a pro contract with club Regatas Lima in Peru on Friday.
"Kaylee has meant so much to our program during her time in Murfreesboro," said MTSU Head Coach Chuck Crawford. "We are beyond proud for her as she begins her professional career in Peru. We believe that her success as a professional athlete will impact her new team in the same special ways she impacted ours."
In her career, Oscarson has totaled 931 kills and 383 total blocks. She reached 100 career solo blocks this season and finished with 106.
Oscarson earned Second Team All-Conference honors for her play this season. The graduate student was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for her work on the court and in the classroom. The Jensen Beach, Fla. native recorded a .397 hitting percentage which places her second in CUSA. She led the team in total blocks (98.0). She was fourth on the team in points (305.5) and kills (245). She was two solo blocks away from breaking the 25-point era record in just two seasons with the Blue Raiders.
