Blue Raiders in sixth after first day of Jackrabbit Invitational

BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Middle Tennessee women's golf finished the first day of the Jackrabbit Invitational in sixth place Monday. The Blue Raiders, looking to defend their title at the 2022 edition of the event, recorded a collective score of 594 (+18) over the first two rounds.
Taylor Edlin leads Middle Tennessee at 145 (+1), tied for 13th overall. Her 71 (-1) in the second round was the lowest score of the day by a Blue Raider and featured six of her seven birdies on the day.
Catherine Caudill led MTSU in the first round with a score of 72 (E). She slipped from a tie for ninth to a tie for 36th after a second-round 78 (+6).
Molly Bebelaar moved 25 spots up the leaderboard from the first round to the second after a 72 (E) in the second round. She is tied for 40th at 151 (+7) heading into the third round.
Lanie Campbell finished the day tied for 50th at 152 (+8). Her 73 (+1) was the Blue Raiders' second-lowest score of the first round. Abbie Lee rounds out the MTSU lineup tied for 61st at 154 (+10).
Playing as an individual, Lauren Gilchrist is also tied for 50th at 152 (+8).
