Blue Raiders head to PGA National for C-USA Championships

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's golf starts its postseason run this week at the Conference USA Championship at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. The tournament consists of three rounds of stroke play with 18 holes played each day from Thursday through Saturday. MTSU's tee times begin at 9:27 a.m. CT on hole 1.
The Blue Raiders are looking for their 18th top-five finish in their last 19 conference tournaments, dating back to the 2003-04 season.
MTSU is a combined 2-6 in head-to-head competition against C-USA opponents this season. The Blue Raiders will see Florida Atlantic and FIU for the first time this year at the conference tournament.

- Lanie Campbell's 67 in the third roud of the Evie Odom Invitational was the lowest by a Blue Raider this season.
- Abbie Lee's 70 (-2) in the third round of the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational tied a career low and led the Blue Raiders to their first under-par team round of the season.
- Middle Tennessee is looking to replace three of its top scorers from the 2021-22 lineup. Edlin's scoring average of 75.9 was the best among players returning for 2022-23.
- Campbell and Lee made their collegiate debuts at the USA Intercollegiate.
- The Blue Raiders enter the week at No. 133 in the latest Golfweek Women's Collegiate Team Rankings and are No. 136 according to Golfstat.
