MTSU falls in the Quarterfinal of the C-USA Championship

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — After a thrilling come from behind victory in the first round, 7-seed Middle Tennessee women's tennis dropped their match 4-0 against 2-seed/No. 41 Charlotte on Friday, April 22 in Denton, Texas.
Charlotte took the doubles point with wins on court No. 1 and 3.
The 49ers won the match with wins on court No. 4, 2 and 6. On court No. 1 Love-Star Alexis won the first set 6-2. Alexis was tied 3-3 in the second before it was called unfinished. Muskan Gupta and Lilly-Sophie Schmidt were both in battles in their second sets after losing the first set but went unfinished.
