After earning the No. 7 seed in the Conference USA Tournament, Middle Tennessee Baseball will face UTSA on Wednesday at Reckling Park in Houston, Texas (home of the Rice Owls).

Raquin, a native of Besancon, France, comes to Murfreesboro after three years Temple, where he was outstanding in both singles and doubles for the Owls. Raquin has a career a singles record of 56-17 and a career doubles record of 44-22. His singles record this past season was 22-1 at the No. 2 spot in Temple's lineup.

Middle Tennessee Soccer's Taijah Fraser has earned a call up to the U-20 Jamaican Women's National Team roster, ahead of the CONCACAF Women's Under-20 Championships this week in the Dominican Republic.
Fraser will feature at forward for the Reggae Girls, who qualified for the championships though a trio of wins in April's qualifying group stage. The tournament's top three teams will qualify for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.

"When I got the call, I knew I couldn't pass up the chance to represent my country. I feel very blessed because not everyone gets this opportunity, and I'm excited to take my sport to the national stage and go show everybody what the Reggae Girls can do," said Fraser. "I'm ready to get out there in the Dominican Republic and help my team qualify for the World Cup."
A freshman in 2022, Fraser appeared in 13 matches for the Blue Raiders, logging an assist against Mississippi Valley State on Sept. 2 and scoring against Austin Peay on Sept. 4.

ICYMI: MTSU Softball is a gem
A personal note to end this one, but if you follow me on Twitter, you probably got a lot of updates for me on MTSU Softball's run to the NCAA Tournament Tuscaloosa Regional Finals, where the Blue Raiders picked up three Top 25 wins in three days and had the No. 5 seed Alabama on the ropes in their own home ballpark.
I have been at so many of their home games this season, but this was the first time I traveled with the program this spring, and I struggle to find the words to relay to y'all how proud they made me to be a small part of this athletic department this weekend. Not only was their skill and fight evident through every pitch this weekend (it's not every day, after all, that it becomes apparent you're watching the best ever team a program has produced), but their comradery and culture off the field was even more impressive to witness as an outsider.
They won the hearts of many fans across the country this weekend, even those rooting for the Crimson Tide, with their clear joy when playing the game and clear love of one another. It was a reminder of everything I love about my job and I hope y'all had as much following them as I did getting a chance to share snippets of their stories.
You can check out my fuller thoughts in my column from the weekend below. Let's go Blue!
By the end of the weekend, it was clear the #BlueRaiders belonged.
