Alexis tabbed All-Conference USA Singles Second Team

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Love-Star Alexis was named All-Conference USA Singles Second Team the league office announced on Wednesday.
"I am so happy that Love-Star earned this honor," said MTSU Head Coach Tayo Bailey-Duvall. "Her hard work has paid off tremendously this year. To complete her undergraduate career with an All-Conference award means our conference acknowledges her as well, and that means a lot. I am proud of Love-Star and honored to have been her coach."
Alexis posted an 18-10 record in singles in both the fall and spring. Alexis is 11-5 on court No. 1 including a ranked win over No. 122 Emma Bardet of Florida Gulf Coast.
She finished the season on a five-match win streak in singles. She earned her first career Conference USA Athlete of the Week and was the first player under Head Coach Bailey-Duvall to receive the honor.
