A header off of Faith Adje poked MTSU back into the lead in the 70th minute, captain Caroline Manley found the UT-Tyler transfer with a header following the corner kick from Lauren Spaanstra. It was Adje's first goal as a Blue Raider.

Cambell Kivisto would ice the game in the 90th minute, striking a through ball from Kaitlyn Butcher past the rushing Bruin keeper to ice MTSU's first win since September 2022.
Kivisto also assisted on Emma Pettersen's first half goal, giving the graduate student three points for the game and five points for the season, as the Collierville, Tenn. native also scored the Blue Raiders' only goal in the season opening 1-1 draw against Louisiana on Thursday.
I have the honor of working on the in-house stat crew for all home matches for the Blue Raiders and last night was one of the most fun evenings I've had at Hayes Stadium. The joy the team had for the win and for each other was truly contagious.
The Blue Raiders will have two games on the road in the D.C. area this week, before returning home to face Lipscomb on August 31.

Volleyball starts 2023 season off in Clemson
After a sweep of Evansville in the Blue Raiders' final exhibition, Middle Tennessee Volleyball turns its attention to their challenging non-conference slate, starting with games against Clemson and Wofford in the Palmetto State this weekend.
The Blue Raiders will take on the Tigers on Friday at 6 p.m. CT on ACC Network Extra and will battle the Terriers at 1 p.m. CT.

Men's Basketball wraps up Italy Trip after undefeated weekend
I had a lot of fun tuning into Chip Walter's Facebook page this weekend as he donned the play-by-play headset from 4,790 miles away from Murfreesboro in Brescia, Italy, as the Blue Raiders dominated both Italian teams to wrap up their foreign tour.

Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony set for Friday, September 22
Middle Tennessee Athletics cordially invites all Blue Raiders to the induction of the Blue Raider Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2023 on Friday, September 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Murphy Center Auxiliary Gymnasium.
The induction ceremony will take place on Friday evening again prior to the weekend's football game on Saturday, to allow this year's induction class to partake in all the Homecoming festivities set for the weekend. The induction ceremony, as always, will be open to the public and will feature refreshments after the ceremony.
