FRANKLIN, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee women's golf faltered in the second half of the second round of the Mason Rudolph Championship on Saturday. The Blue Raiders were 2-over through the first nine holes of the day but finished at 310 (+22).
MTSU finished the day in 16th place as a team at 604 (+28). The 18-team field at Vanderbilt Legends Club features 13 teams that currently represent the SEC, ACC, Big 12 and Pac 12 and six teams that reached the 2023 NCAA Championship.
Molly Bebelaar, Kendall Maynard and Abbie Lee tied for the team lead with rounds of 77 (+5) Saturday. Bebelaar is the Blue Raiders' low scorer through 36 holes at 148 (+4) at 58th place individually.
Maynard returned to the clubhouse at 151 (+7), tied for 64th through two rounds. Lee picked up a team-high three birdies Saturday and enters the third round tied for 75th at 153 (+9).
Ella Manley is tied for 79th at 154 (+10). Nicole Johnson rounds out the lineup at 156 (+12) in her first collegiate tournament.
By the Numbers
23 - Twenty-three of MTSU's 45 holes in the second half of the round went down as bogeys or higher.
3 - Lee had half of the Blue Raiders' six birdies Saturday.
4 - The Blue Raiders dropped four spots in the team standings.
