Six Blue Raiders Highlight CUSA All-Conference Awards

DALLAS, Texas – Risui Arasaki, Lexi Dendis, Aireona Duenez, Idun Kvaale, Manon Lebargy and Lauren Spaanstra have been named to represent Middle Tennessee in the 2024 CUSA Superlatives and All-Conference awards, per the release from the conference office on Wednesday.
Following the 2023 campaign, five Blue Raiders were listed on the all-conference teams, including Spaanstra and Lebargy being named to the Second Team, Caroline Manley and Eleanor Gough named to the Third Team and Sadie Sterbenz listed on the All-Freshman team.
This season, Lebargy wins her fourth and fifth CUSA award of the 2024 season. The French midfielder was named to the Preseason All-Conference team, received Academic All-Conference honors and was named Offensive Player of the Week in yesterday's release. Today, Lebargy earns the 2024 CUSA Midfielder of the Year award, along with representing MTSU on the All-Conference First Team, after finishing second in the conference in both goals and points with 13 and 30, respectively.
Dendis was named Freshman of the Year, as well as being named to the All-Freshman team and the All-Conference Third Team. Dendis scored four goals and four assists in her first season with the Blue Raiders, appearing and starting in all 17 matches.
After transferring from Arizona Western College, Arasaki earned her second career conference award, receiving the second of four Third Team All-Conference awards for Middle Tennessee. Arasaki scored three goals and four assists in 17 appearances, making 11 starts in an attacking midfielder role.
Kvaale earns the second conference award of her career in Murfreesboro after being named to the All-Conference Third Team. The Norway native recorded the team's second highest goal tally this season with five, to go with three assists in 17 appearances and starts.
Spaanstra, in her final collegiate season, earned Third Team All-Conference honors, the third CUSA award of her career. In 2024, Spaanstra appeared and started in all 17 matches for the Blue Raiders, recording a team-high seven assists, which placed her third in Conference USA.
Duenez was listed as the second Blue Raider to be named to the All-Freshman Team, after scoring her first career goal in Middle Tennessee's 5-0 win over Alabama A&M.
The Blue Raiders take on the Sam Houston Bearkats in the opening round of the Conference USA Tournament tonight at 6 P.M. CT from Miami, Fla.
